Boys Golf
MANISTEE- Mason County Eastern's boys golf team finished fifth at the Divison IV district tournament on Thursday and qualified for the regional meet to be played on May 29.
"The top six teams qualify for the regional meet," said Eastern coach Tod Howell.
Hesperia won the meet which was played at the Manistee Golf Club with 353 strokes followed by Manistee Catholic Central at 354, Fremont Providence Christian 370, North Muskegon 382, Eastern 396 and Frankfort 401.
Senior Shawn McMann led the Cardinals with a round of 95.
Brad Dodson was next with 98 followed by Brad Rybicki at 100, Chase Anderson 103 and Tom Grimm 109.
