Eastern fifth at Benzie
BENZONIA- Mason County Eastern finished fifth in a six-team field at the Benzie Invitational golf tournament on Monday.
The Cardinals posted an 18 hole score of 368 strokes. Charlevoix was first at 317.
Shawn McMann was low man for Eastern with an 87. Anderson at 92, Brad Rybivcki 93, Chance Christmas 96 and Brad Dodson 98.
Eastern is back in action today with a Western Michigan D League competition with Brethren/Bear Lake.
